Hannah Kay

Hannah was born in 1831 in Halliwell and her christening took place on March 20th, 1831 in Deane.¹²

Hannah's father was Ralph Kay and her mother was Ruth Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were James Kay and Betty Holt. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, James, John, Elizabeth, Sarah and Rachel. She had two adopted sisters named Mary and Ruth. She died at the age of 72 on April 7th, 1903 in Bolton. Her burial was on April 11th, 1903 at Tonge-with-Haulgh Cemetery.³⁴

  Mary must have died between 1891 amd 1901.
