Richard Isherwood

Richard was born in May 1805 in Edgworth.

Richard's father was John Isherwood and his mother was Betty Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Betty Flitcroft. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named James, Thomas, James, John, Harry, William, John, Betty and Mally.  He was the second youngest of the ten known children.  He died at 11 months old in April 1806 in Edgworth.  He was buried on April 15th, 1806 at Turton Chapel.¹
