Harry was born in August 1801 in Quarlton and his baptism took place on August 20th, 1801 at St. Anne (Turton).1  Harry's father was John Isherwood and his mother was Betty Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Betty Flitcroft. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named James, Thomas, James, John, William, Richard, John, Betty and Mally.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten known children.  He died at 2 months old in October 1801 in Quarlton.  He was buried on October 26th, 1801 at St. Anne (Turton).1
