Lilian was born in March 1882 in Little Bolton.1  Lilian's father was James Inman and her mother was Ruth Mather.  Her paternal grandparents were David Inman and Dorothy Robinson; her maternal grandparents were John Mather and Elizabeth Kay. She had a brother and three sisters, named William, Elizabeth, Sarah and Margaret.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 78 on March 14th, 1960 in Vancouver.  Her burial was in March 1960.2
