William Higgins

William's father was William Higgins and his mother was Minnie (Annie) Eddowes. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Eddowes and Mary Ann Hughes. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Bernard, John, Harold, Arthur, Bessie and Minnie. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 78 in January 1979 in Wrexham.²

- There are birth and death records for William at Wrexham, but nothing else. No 1939 register with a DOB 19 Apr 1900, except for a William Higgins in Norfolk married to Alice. This must be him, as he is a Coal Miner, and the only one born that date.
