- In 1851, Maryann Hughes, aged 8, daughter of Robert and Elizabeth, was living at the Beast Market, a neighbour of the Eddowes family, although this girl is too young to have married Thomas in 1860. Also, Mary Ann's father was David Hughes.
  
  31 Dec 1860, Thomas, son of John and Mary Ann daughter of David were married at Liveprool, both of Full Age and parents labourers..
  
  In 1861, visiting sister-in-law Esther Brereton
  
  Moved to Kirkdale, Lancashire by 1901 (aged 61).
  
  Possibly maiden name is Thomas, Hughes or other.
