27 June 1896, when William Higgins, son of the late Bernard Higgins, married Minnie Eddowes at Gwersyllt near Wrexham, he was 22 and Minnie 20. However, later it appears there was 6 years between them !
Also, 6 April 1896 William Henry Higgins (22), son of Wiliam (both colliers) married Mary Elizabeth Smith (23), also at Gwersyllt. Perhaps they wanted to confuse us !
In 1901, William and Annie Higgins (29 & 23) were still at Gwersyllt, Wrexham, Denbigshire with Bessie (5) and Bernard (2)
In 1911, Minnie, Head, 32 had been married 14 years and had 5 children (all alive). William and one child (Minnie born 1903) were missing
In 1921, William and Minnie were at Minera, Wrexham with Bernard, William, Minnie and John.
In 1931, William (DOB 16 Sep 72) and daughter Minnie (DOB 8 Jan 03) were at 2 Old Rhosrobin, Wrexham.
