George Eddowes

George was born in June 1881 in Birkenhead.¹

George's father was Thomas Eddowes and his mother was Mary Ann Hughes. His paternal grandparents were John Eddowes and Mary Whitfield. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named David, Harry, George, Thomas, Emily, Ann, Louisa, Elizabeth, Mary, Mary and Annie. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died as a war casualty, WW1, at the age of 34 on December 10th, 1915 in France.²

- In 1901, George Eddowes was a lodger with William Humphreys and it it assumed (but not confirmed) he was a brother of Elizabeth.
  
  About 1905, George and Nellie moved to Sutton Oak, Lancashire their last three children were born.
