Esther Hanson

Esther was born in 1849 in Adlington.¹

Esther's father was Richard Hanson and her mother was Margaret (Peggy) Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Amy (Amey or Emy) Worsley. She had three brothers and nine sisters, named Thomas, Edmund, Henry, Sarah, Margaret, Ann, Mary, Nancy, Elizabeth, Margaret, Harriot and Martha. She was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 7 in 1856 in Adlington.¹
