Martha Eddowes

Martha was born in March 1876 in Prestwich.¹

Martha's father was James Eddowes and her mother was Martha Griffiths. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Eddowes and Martha Jones. She had three sisters named Emily, Florence and Martha. She was the oldest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named James, (Alfred), Mary, Alice, Hannah, Emma, Mary and Elizabeth. She died at 3 months old in June 1876 in Chorlton (Lancs).¹
