Florence Eddowes

Florence was born on September 24th, 1879 in Rock Ferry and her baptism took place on July 11th, 1880 at St. Paul's (Tranmere).¹²

Florence's father was James Eddowes and her mother was Martha Griffiths. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Eddowes and Martha Jones. She had three sisters named Martha, Emily and Martha. She was the third oldest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named James, (Alfred), Mary, Alice, Hannah, Emma, Mary and Elizabeth. She died at the age of 70 on November 7th, 1949 in Birkenhead.³
