Martha Eddowes

Martha was born in April 1881 in Rock Ferry.¹

Martha's father was James Eddowes and her mother was Martha Griffiths.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Eddowes and Martha Jones. She had three sisters named Martha, Emily and Florence.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named James, (Alfred), Mary, Alice, Hannah, Emma, Mary and Elizabeth.  She died at 5 months old in September 1881 in Birkenhead.²
