Alice Ann Eddowes

Alice was born in October 1856 in Chorlton-cum-Hardy and her baptism took place on November 1st, 1856 in Manchester.¹²

Birth Notes

Alice's father was James Eddowes and her mother was Martha Beardow. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Eddowes and Martha Jones. She had a brother and three sisters, named James, Mary, Hannah and Emma. She was the third oldest of the five children. She had four half-sisters named Martha, Emily, Florence and Martha.
