29 Sep 1852 James Eddowes (23) a porter, son of Thomas a farmer married Martha Beardow (27) at Ardwick, Manchester. They were both living at Chapel Field Road at the time of their marriage.
From 1852 to 1860, their marriage and all their children's births were registered at Chorlton, Lancashire.
In 1873, Martha Eddowes died at Chorlton, aged 47.
Martha and James were married in a religious ceremony on September 29th, 1852 at Manchester Cathedral.3 They had a son and four daughters, named James, Mary, Alice, Hannah and Emma. There are no more children.
Hannah was born on January 4th, 1858 in Chorlton (Lancs) and her baptism took place on January 17th, 1858 in Ardwick.25
