Elizabeth's father was James Parr and her mother was Martha Griffiths. She had a brother and a sister, named (Alfred) and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had four half-sisters named Martha, Emily, Florence and Martha.  She died at 11 months old in May 1872 in Birkenhead.¹
