Joseph Crosland

Joseph was born in 1744 in Austonley and his baptism took place on August 4th, 1744 in Holmfirth.¹

Joseph's father was John Crosland and his mother was Hannah Garthside. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Richard, Samuel, John, John, Thomas, John, James, Joseph, Hannah, Anne, Mary, Grace and Sarah. He was the tenth oldest of the fourteen children. He died before 1751 in Austonley.

- Joseph must have died young as another Joseph was baptised in 1751. He would have probably been buried at Holmfirth or Almondbury.
