Peter Crook 
Peter was born on October 20th, 1808 in Turton and his baptism took place about 1808 at Walmsley Presbyterian.1 Peter's father was Thomas Crook and his mother was Hannah (Nanny) Walsh. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Thomas, Joseph, Luke, Dan, Charles, Nanny, Mary and Ruth. He was the second youngest of the eleven children.
