Mary Crook

Mary was born on May 7th, 1803 in Turton and her baptism took place about 1803 at Walmsley Presbyterian.¹ Mary's father was Thomas Crook and her mother was Hannah (Nanny) Walsh. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named John, James, Thomas, Joseph, Luke, Dan, Peter, Charles, Nanny and Ruth. She was the eighth oldest of the eleven children.

General Notes
- In 1861, Mary, still single and a dairy maid, was living with her brother Luke and nephew Luke (28).
