Annie's father was George Brooks and her mother was Agnes Almond. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Brooks and Ann Price. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, William, George, Robert, Charles, Harriet, Mary, Eliza and Alice. She was the seventh oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 73 on December 24th, 1987 in Massachusetts (MA).²
