Lucy Brereton (Breerton)

Lucy was born in December 1837 in Stalybridge.¹

Lucy's father was Richard Brereton and her mother was Eliza (Betty) Ramsden. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Bruerton and Ann Vickers. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Edwin, Richard, Emma and Eliza. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 16 in September 1854 in Ashton-under-Lyne.²
