Sandford Brereton

Sandford was born in 1685 in Nantwich and his christening took place there on June 15th, 1685.¹

Sandford's father was Jonathan (John) Brereton and his mother was Mary Sandford. His paternal grandparents were Richard Brereton and Elizabeth Kendricke; his maternal grandparents were Dudley Sandford and Mary (Maria) Hassall. He had two half-brothers named Thomas and Sam. He died at the age of 37 on January 18th, 1722 in Tarporley. His burial was on January 21st, 1722 in Wybunbury.²³

- Sandford was able to write his will on the 15th Jan 1722, so must have died soonafter, probably the 18th, as buried on the 21st (as typically laid to rest for three days).

  Sandford wrote a will, dated 15 Jan 1722, which identified him as a victuller (beer maker). His heir was son Sandford, and also son Thomas (£21) and daughter Esther
