Thomas was born about 1694 in Wybunbury. Thomas' father was Jonathan (John) Brereton and his mother was Ellinor Shone. His paternal grandparents were Richard Brereton and Elizabeth Kendricke. He had a brother named Sam. He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother named Sandford. He died on May 30th, 1695 in Wybunbury.¹
