He died at the age of 65 in May 1787 in Beeston.  He was buried on May 4th, 1787 at St. Boniface (Bunbury).³

  The Richard Ledsham that died 1756 and left a will, named his widow as Elizabeth.  This Richard married Elizabeth Porter in 1755 at St John the Baptist, Chester. Also, this is where he was buried.
  
  Richard Ledsham of Beestone died 4 May 1787.  This is either this Richard or his son Richard (who was baptised at Beestone).  Another Richard Ledsham of Beeston was buried 26 Nov 1799.  It is assumes the father died first.
  
  Another Richard Ledsone died 1784 leaving a will. He was a merchant in Chester.
