Michael Blackburn

Michael was born in May 1835 at Park Gate and his baptism took place on July 19th, 1835 in Almondbury.¹

Michael's father was George Blackburn and his mother was Phebe Oldham. His paternal grandparents were Michael Blackburn and Hannah Eastwood. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Joseph, Hannah, Mary and Ellen. He was the youngest of the six children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Jonathan, John, George, Hannah, Elizabeth and Lydia. He died at the age of 58 in 1893.
