Lily Ashall

Lily was born on July 15th, 1897 in Halliwell and her baptism took place on January 23rd, 1898 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Birth Notes

Lily's father was John Henry Ashall and her mother was Louisa Pennington. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Pennington and Martha Mather. She had a brother and six sisters, named Harry, Elsie, Jessie, Doris, Alice, Evelyn and Phylis. She was the third oldest of the eight children.
