Evelyn Ashall

Evelyn was born on September 27th, 1907 in Halliwell and her baptism took place on November 17th, 1907 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Evelyn's father was John Henry Ashall and her mother was Louisa Pennington. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Pennington and Martha Mather. She had a brother and six sisters, named Harry, Elsie, Lily, Jessie, Doris, Alice and Phylis. She was the seventh oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 94 on January 1st, 2002 in Bury.³
