Elizabeth Roper

Elizabeth was born in 1808 in Sharples.¹

Birth Notes
- Elizabeth 35 (10y older than Richard) in 1841
  Aged 40 or 44 when died in 1848
  
  Probably born in Halliwell (where son Robert was born). Father was from Sharples.

She died at the age of 40 in January 1848 in Little Bolton. Her burial was on January 3rd, 1848 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²³

  The burial is more as expected, soon after Ellen born, names husband and expected abode. The death record is missing.

- Elizabeth from Sharples was the daughter of William Roper, a Quarryman.
  
  Elizabeth married Richard Mather (Carder, son of Richard) in 1837, after Ann and Robert had been born, Richard was recorded as a Cotton Striper in the 1841 census, at Club Houses, Sharples.
  
  Elizabeth's father William Roper (65) and was living with the family at Club Houses, Sharples in 1841. He was described as a Quarry Man from Sharples on her marriage certificate but now an Ag Labourer..
