Reginald was born on December 11th, 1926 in 76 Alexander Street, Nuneaton, Warwickshire and his baptism took place on January 6th, 1927 in St.Mary Abbey Church, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.1  Reginald's father was John Thomas LONG and his mother was Maggie HALL.  His paternal grandparents were Robert LONG and Sarah PEARCE; his maternal grandparents were George HALL and Margaret Crowley SHILTON. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Stanley, George, Grace, Maggie, Lily, Beatrice and Dorothy.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 75 on October 24th, 2002 in George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.  He was buried on November 1st, 2002 in Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
