George was born on June 15th, 1863 in 10 Olive Street, St.Margarets, Leicester and his baptism took place on September 6th, 1863 in Atherstone, Warwickshire.1  George's father was George HALL and his mother was Catherine LAWRANCE.  His paternal grandparents were Elijah HALL and Sarah SILVESTER; his maternal grandparents were William LAWRANCE and Hannah (Ann) <UNKNOWN>. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William, Elijah, Elizabeth, Catherine, Mary and Sarah.  He was the fifth oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 67 on December 1st, 1930 in Nuneaton General Hospital, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.  His burial was on December 4th, 1930 in Nuneaton Cemetery.
