Nancy Orr

Nancy was born in 1797 in NC.¹   Nancy's father was Alexander Orr and her mother was Martha.  Her paternal grandfather was Arthur Orr; her maternal grandfather was Hugh McCain. She had three brothers and six sisters, named William, Hugh, Alexander Jr, Margaret Peggy, Jane, Elizabeth, Martha, Mary Polly and Isabel(Lolia)(Ila)Orr.  She was the second youngest of the ten children. She had eight half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William, John, Robert, James, Andrew, Alexander, David, Patrick, Elizabeth, Mary Polly, Mary Margaret and Nancy M.  She died at the age of 53 in 1850 in Caldwell Co., KY.¹
