Jane Orr

Jane was born in 1779 in NC, USA.¹   Jane's father was Alexander Orr and her mother was Martha.  Her paternal grandfather was Arthur Orr; her maternal grandfather was Hugh McCain. She had three brothers and six sisters, named William, Hugh, Alexander Jr, Margaret Peggy, Elizabeth, Martha, Mary Polly, Nancy and Isabel(Lolia)(Ila)Orr.  She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She had eight half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William, John, Robert, James, Andrew, Alexander, David, Patrick, Elizabeth, Mary Polly, Mary Margaret and Nancy M.  She died at the age of 38 in 1817 in Caldwell Co., KY.²
