Alexander Orr

Alexander was born on May 23rd, 1798 in Wythe, VA, USA.¹   Alexander's father was Alexander Orr and his mother was Margaret Peggy Ramsey.  His paternal grandfather was Arthur Orr. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, John, Robert, James, Andrew, David, Patrick, Elizabeth, Mary Polly, Mary Margaret and Nancy M.  He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He had three half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named William, Hugh, Alexander Jr, Margaret Peggy, Jane, Elizabeth, Martha, Mary Polly, Nancy and Isabel(Lolia)(Ila)Orr.  He died at the age of 82 on September 16th, 1880 in Lee, VA, USA.¹
