James Orr

James was born in 1792 in Wyeth, VA, USA.¹   James' father was Alexander Orr and his mother was Margaret Peggy Ramsey.  His paternal grandfather was Arthur Orr. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, John, Robert, Andrew, Alexander, David, Patrick, Elizabeth, Mary Polly, Mary Margaret and Nancy M.  He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He had three half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named William, Hugh, Alexander Jr, Margaret Peggy, Jane, Elizabeth, Martha, Mary Polly, Nancy and Isabel(Lolia)(Ila)Orr.  He died at the age of 42 in 1834 in TN.¹
