John Orr

John was born in 1789 in York, PA, USA.¹ John's father was Alexander Orr and his mother was Margaret Peggy Ramsey. His paternal grandfather was Arthur Orr. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, Robert, James, Andrew, Alexander, David, Patrick, Elizabeth, Mary Polly, Mary Margaret and Nancy M. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He had three half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named William, Hugh, Alexander Jr, Margaret Peggy, Jane, Elizabeth, Martha, Mary Polly, Nancy and Isabel(Lolia)(Ila)Orr. He died at the age of 84 on February 18th, 1873 in Nicholas Co., KY.¹
