Hugh Orr

Hugh was born in 1773 in NC.  Hugh's father was Alexander Orr and his mother was Martha.  His paternal grandfather was Arthur Orr; his maternal grandfather was Hugh McCain. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named William, Alexander Jr, Margaret Peggy, Jane, Elizabeth, Martha, Mary Polly, Nancy and Isabel(Lolia)(Ila)Orr.  He was the second oldest of the ten children. He had eight half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William, John, Robert, James, Andrew, Alexander, David, Patrick, Elizabeth, Mary Polly, Mary Margaret and Nancy M.  He died at the age of 74 in 1847 in Graves Co., KY.
