Edmund Rennels 
Edmund was born on December 13th, 1829 in Lawrence Co., IN (m). Edmund's father was James+ Rennels and his mother was Mary+ Connelly. His paternal grandparents were John+ Rennels and Nancy+ Ewing; his maternal grandparents were Joel Jackson+ Connelly and Effie+ Pennington. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Henry Leatherman, John Pennington+, William Riley, Joel Jackson, Rebecca Ann, Martha Jane, Sarah Elizabeth and Mahala Pearl. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 85 on May 8th, 1915 in 1419 Seventh St., Charleston, IL.General Notes

1880 Census for Hutton Coles, IL shows Edmund Rennels as a farmer (age 50, Father from KY mother from NC) with wife Angaline (age 43 father from TN mother from NC). Their nine youngest children reside there. Rebecca had married in 1874 and was living with Marion Orlando. Son William Rennels is not living in the household, either. Edmund's family was living next door to his brother John P. Rennels and his family.
