John Pennington+ Rennels 
John Pennington+ was born on September 26th, 1834 in Rockville, IN or Coles, IL. John Pennington+'s father was James+ Rennels and his mother was Mary+ Connelly. His paternal grandparents were John+ Rennels and Nancy+ Ewing; his maternal grandparents were Joel Jackson+ Connelly and Effie+ Pennington. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Henry Leatherman, Edmund, William Riley, Joel Jackson, Rebecca Ann, Martha Jane, Sarah Elizabeth and Mahala Pearl. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 80 on June 10th, 1915 in Coles Co., IL.General Notes
