Rebecca Ann+ was born on May 20th, 1859 in Hutton Twp., Coles Co., IL. Rebecca Ann+'s father was John Pennington+ Rennels and her mother was Louisa A.+ Smith. Her paternal grandparents were James+ Rennels and Mary+ Connelly; her maternal grandparents are George W.+ Smith and Elizabeth+ Boland. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Riley, Albert T., Palmer, Mary A., Martha E., Mildred A. and Norah. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died after May 1880.General Notes

12/20/2004 - I have temporarily placed Rebecca Ann Rennels John Pennington Rennels and Louise Smith; however, our family holds that she was the first daughter of John's brother Edmund and wife Angeline Rennels, so any concrete information would be well apprecaited!
