Rebecca Ann was born on March 11th, 1832 in Lawrence Co., IN.. Rebecca Ann's father was James+ Rennels and her mother was Mary+ Connelly. Her paternal grandparents were John+ Rennels and Nancy+ Ewing; her maternal grandparents were Joel Jackson+ Connelly and Effie+ Pennington. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Henry Leatherman, Edmund, John Pennington+, William Riley, Joel Jackson, Martha Jane, Sarah Elizabeth and Mahala Pearl. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 36 in 1868 in Coles Co., IL.General Notes
