Lua J. Rennels

Lua J. was born on October 2nd, 1866 in Coles Co., IL. Lua J.'s father was Edmund Rennels and her mother was Angeline Davis. Her paternal grandparents were James+ Rennels and Mary+ Connelly; her maternal grandparents were Bluford Gatliff Davis and Mary Jane Edwards. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Henry Lincoln, William Riley Sigel, Rama Sheridan, Tella, Viola, Sarah Ella, Lilly B., Effie, Ida Pearl and Lydia Alice. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She had three half-sisters named Mary Ann, Sarah Effis and Melvina Jane. She died at the age of 23 on October 31st, 1889 in Coles Co., IL.
