Mary Jane Edwards 
Mary Jane was born in 1804 in Orange Co, NC. Mary Jane's father was John Henry Edwards and her mother was Mary Burton. Her paternal grandparents were John Edwards and Mary Stokes. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, William, Charles F., Young, Henry, Elizabeth, Sarah, Nancy and Frances D.. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 104 on January 4th, 1908 in Coles Co., IL. She was buried in Whetstone Cemetery, Coles Co., IL.General Notes
