John was born about 1807 in IN. John's father was John Henry Edwards and his mother was Mary Burton. His paternal grandparents were John Edwards and Mary Stokes. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William, Charles F., Young, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Sarah, Nancy and Frances D.. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died about 1847 in Schuyler, MO.General Notes
NOTE: I need independent confirmation for the placement here of John. From what I have accumulated thus far, it is probable that his parents were John Henry Edwards and Mary Burton. FURTHER RESEARCH NEEDED.
