William Edwards 
William was born in 1809 in Orange Co, NC. William's father was John Henry Edwards and his mother was Mary Burton. His paternal grandparents were John Edwards and Mary Stokes. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Charles F., Young, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Sarah, Nancy and Frances D.. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 76 in 1885 in Clay Co., IL. He was buried in Tolliver Cemetery, Louisville, Clay, IL.General Notes
