Rama Sheridan was born on February 2nd, 1872 in Hutton Twp., Coles, IL. Rama Sheridan's father was Edmund Rennels and his mother was Angeline Davis. His paternal grandparents were James+ Rennels and Mary+ Connelly; his maternal grandparents were Bluford Gatliff Davis and Mary Jane Edwards. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Henry Lincoln, William Riley Sigel, Tella, Viola, Lua J., Sarah Ella, Lilly B., Effie, Ida Pearl and Lydia Alice. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He had three half-sisters named Mary Ann, Sarah Effis and Melvina Jane. He died at the age of 30 on January 5th, 1903 in Hutton Twp., Coles, IL.General Notes
1880 Census for Hutton Coles, IL shows Edmund Rennels as a farmer (age 50, Father from KY mother from NC) with wife Angaline (age 43 father from TN mother from NC). Their nine youngest children reside there. Rebecca had married in 1874 and was living with Marion Orlando.
