Sarah E. was born on October 1st, 1762 in Springfield, Guilford, NC. Sarah E.'s father was Obediah Harris and her mother was Rebekah Johnson. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Harris and Sarah Dumas. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named Benjamin, Obediah, David, Molly, James, Rachel D., Jemima, Martha, Rebekah, Judith and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the twelve children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Aaron, Moses, John, Nathan, Phoebe, Lydia and Mary. She died in Hamilton Co., IN.General Notes
