Lydia Harris

Lydia was born on November 1st, 1814 in New Garden, Guilford, NC. Lydia's father was Obediah Harris and her mother was Miriam Mendenhall. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Harris and Sarah Dumas; her maternal grandparents were Aaron Mendenhall and Miriam Rich. She has four brothers and two sisters, named Aaron, Moses, John, Nathan, Phoebe and Mary. She is the fourth oldest of the seven children. She had three half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Benjamin, Obediah, David, Sarah E., Molly, James, Rachel D., Jemima, Martha, Rebekah, Judith and Elizabeth.
