Mary Harris

Mary was born on March 3rd, 1823 in New Garden, Guilford, NC. Mary's father was Obediah Harris and her mother was Miriam Mendenhall. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Harris and Sarah Dumas; her maternal grandparents were Aaron Mendenhall and Miriam Rich. She has four brothers and two sisters, named Aaron, Moses, John, Nathan, Phoebe and Lydia. She is the youngest of the seven children. She had three half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Benjamin, Obediah, David, Sarah E., Molly, James, Rachel D., Jemima, Martha, Rebekah, Judith and Elizabeth.
