Temperance Overton 
Temperance was born on March 2nd, 1679 in The Forks, Hanover, VA. Temperance's father was William Overton and her mother was Elizabeth Overton Waters. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Overton and Anne Gardner. She had a brother and a sister, named James and Barbara. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 30 on February 19th, 1710 in Cedar Hill, Hanover, VA. She was buried in Old Harris Cemetery, Cedar Hill, Hanover, VA.General Notes
