Obediah Harris 
Obediah was born on July 21st, 1741 in Little River, St. Paul's Parish, Hanover, VA. Obediah's father was Benjamin Harris and his mother was Sarah Dumas. His paternal grandparents were William Harris and Temperance Overton; his maternal grandfather was Jeremiah Dumas and his maternal grandmother is Unity Lacy. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, Jeremiah, Judith, Unity and Rachel. He died at the age of 89 on November 28th, 1830 in New Gardon, Wayne Co., IN.General Notes
