John Cook 
John was born on March 5th, 1765 in Rowan Co., NC. John's father was Abraham Cook and his mother was Phebe Mills. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Cook and Mary+ Underwood; his maternal grandparents were John+ Mills and Sarah+ Beals. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Isaac, Abraham Jr., Jacob, Nathan, Moses, Rachel, Mary, Phebe, Sarah and Ruth. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 77 in April 1842 in White Lick, Morgan Co., IN.General Notes
